He doesn’t think Sully’ll run, but he’s not taking the chance. When they’re inside, Nate stays between Sully and the door. He saunters up as Sully’s pushing the key into the door, and Sully clearly isn’t the slightest bit surprised to see him. Waiting until Sully heads back for the hole-in-the-wall motel he’s staying at, because Nate wants privacy for this. Nate bides his time, skulking outside the bar Sully’s chosen on the outskirts of Santiago. He still doesn’t approach Sully right away, though. Usually people he’s pissed off, and Nate thinks he has a right to be pissed off over this whole mess, but Sully’s done a shitty job of covering his tracks, and Nate figures that has to mean something. Which Nate’s taking as a good sign, because Sully’s a damn professional when it comes to hiding from people he doesn’t want to talk to. It’s easy enough, picking up Sully’s trail.
